REVIEW YONEX ASTROX 55 VS YONEX ASTROX 77 ORIGINAL ( INCLUDE SENAR BG 66 ULTIMAX )DI JAMIN 100 % ORIGINAL1.Youtobe https://youtube.com/channel/UCGtkNh8IqIPe
Occupation: graduate. Location: England. Bruce Lee once said 'don't think, feel.'. Try them and you never know you might like them. The worst being you cut them out and the best being you find a new string. I have just bought bg80p and have been using bg66um so interested to try them out. #2 diverdan, Mar 17, 2012.
The Yonex BG-66 Ultimax badminton string has a super thin 0.65mm gauge and the perfect balance of maximum power, control, and durability. The BG-66/BG66 is used by top professional badminton including Olympic and World Champion Taufik Hidayat.
Yonex's thinnest multifilament string in a 0.65mm thin gauge has a high intensity core with maximum number of strands making it one of the most comfortable badminton strings with super crisp feel as well as great precision and comfort. The BG-66 Ultimax badminton string is an ultra-thin gauge string has ultimate repulsion and clear hitting sound.
Then your arm won't feel sore. But since you're making me pick, I'd say go for the BG65 because it's much cheaper than the BG66, and it's pretty much considered the benchmark. Oh and the 0.70mm means it's more durable, something you need as you said you're just a beginner and I bet you still mishit a lot.
Bg66 feels really good when freshly restrung for a while and can keep this feeling for anywhere up to a month. Bg 80 lasts longer retaining its fresh feeling and properties. But it really up to you, some people play till string snaps or when they fray or even when they "lose" that feeling. Too many variables in play.
Tried BG 66 UM yesterday on at 29.7 lbs (13.5 kg) and really loved it! It really feels like an elite string, I already ordered a 200 m roll. Very nice feeling and awesome crispness in shots. I also noticed that given UM itself feels softer than BG 80, it feels harder comparing both strung at the same tension.

Eric’s Review: Normally, I prefer using thinner strings for my leisure games. This string performs well for front needs. Durability is a concern for me, but it is not bad as it can last about 2-3 months for my leisure games. Felet Ultra Sonic 63 badminton string although is thin, but suits the intermediate players who need more power and

Hello All, I had been using Victor Jetspeed S08 earlier strung with Yonex BG80P at 22 lbs. I have loved BG80P so far for its durability at this tension. Unfortunately, this Victor racket got lost recently and I had to buy Yonex Nanoflare 380 Sharp. Yonex website suggests to go with either Aerobite Boost or BG66 Ultimax with this NF380 racket
